![]() One podcast I've gotten into over the last year with great bits and good good goofs is The Baby-Sitters Club Club, where two grown men read and recap the Baby Sitters Club series of books (you do not need to have read the books recently or at all to follow the podcast or find it hilarious).įor actual plays like TAZ, my favorites right now are Bad Heroes, which is an all-homebrewed Pathfinder story, and The Drunken Geek, which also uses the Pathfinder system and is influenced by TAZ although not as professionally produced. ![]() I think the natural progression from the brothers is probably other MaxFun content, like Still Buffering, We Got This, Bubble, and Can I Pet Your Dog. For the positive brotherhood vibes: Vlogbrothers, if you have managed to miss them, are two dorks who decided to only communicate with each other via daily blog fourteen years ago and-spoiler alert-are still doing it fourteen years later they have since also created several educational YouTube shows, podcasts, music, books, and major motion picturesįor the righteous alt-comedy: James Acaster is what would happen if the boys were cursed by a witch to be a pasty stand-up comedian from Ketteringįor the video game goofs: Brian David Gilbert is an alternate universe Griffin if he was born a decade later and had subsumed his brother's qualities in the womb (I know the Venn diagram of BDG and MBMBAM fans is almost a circle but just in case)įor the RPG played by a family unit who love (and also love to annoy) each other: Spout Lore is a Dungeon World campaign made by a bunch of Canadian improv geniuses and is the closest I've felt to listening to TAZ personally due to how much they respect and care about each other and also can't help but lovingly antagonize one another because of that care and respect ![]()
